OUR STORY
In 2021 during a group mentoring session on zoom, Anna was asked the question: If there were no limits, what would you do? At the time, Anna had put her fashion career of the past decade to rest, and was exploring the idea of naturopathy. Yet, out of her mouth blurted suprisingly, "I just want to make silk kimonos". In April 2023, Anna launched Rosa Paloma with thirty robes - crafted from vintage silk sarees.
Rosa Paloma was birthed from a series of dreams and spiritual revelation, coupled with Anna's natural deep appreciation of textiles. Passion and purpose come together in an ethical fashion journey, going back to slowness and creativity - using what is already here, and breathing new life into old fabric.
With a love of retro silhouettes, print clashes and fine fabrics, Anna incorporates nostalgia with a pursuit to utilise vintage and remnant cloth. Our beautiful planet deserves our mindfulness, intentionality and reverence.
The value of every person involved in the manufacturing is a priority, this includes the delicate balance of growing Rosa Paloma slowly alongside Anna's busy household of boys.
We truly value each customer, and pray a blessing over each piece before wrapping and sending it on its way.
Anna lives in Adelaide with her husband and three sons.
